Re: Internship for Kabe Termes

Dear Selection Committee,

It is my distinct honor and pleasure to write this reference letter for Kabe Termes, who is applying for a 12-week internship with the Associated Press. I hired Kabe to work for the University of Wyoming Student Publications as a photographer in April 2006; he has been a very dedicated photographer for us, in addition to maintaining a grade point average above the University of Wyoming men's average.

This past year I have observed Kabe's ability to adjust to whatever assignment he has been given by our photo editor. Not only does Kabe cordially accept assignments, his photos are on time and pleasing to the eye with a distinctive quality that expresses Kabe's passion for photography. Kabe has developed into one of our best photographers, and has the potential to be an award winning photographer.

Kabe comes from a very creative family, and it is apparent he is perpetuating the family reputation in photography. He has the talent and promise to be the caliber of photographer that will encourage young people to want to grow up to be the future generation of photographers.

Aside from Kabe's skill with a camera, he is also a great role model with characteristics that include honesty, a great work ethic and competitive motivation. Kabe will always give you his best, and I can say with confidence, you will always be satisfied with his efforts. You cannot ask for someone to represent the Associated Press with more sincerity and respect than Kabe Termes.
